V.F.W. POST 4868 – HALL & TORNADO SAFE ROOM
CLEAR LAKE, IA
Nicknamed “The Bunker”, the facility provides the Veterans
of Foreign Wars a gathering hall for their meetings and
social events. Additionally, the facility, functioning as a
bar and restaurant, provides the group with an important
revenue source. The project was partially funded by FEMA
and provides a high wind shelter/safe room for patrons of
the nearby lake.
