This year our team has so many things to celebrate: a new office, a new identity, and 95 years of our firm. In April, we officially started the process of transitioning from Waggoner Wineinger Architects (WWA) to ATURA architecture. Our history will always remain an important piece of our firm, but we are thrilled for what the future holds. This August we hosted our open house to celebrate our new name, new location, and the continuation of the same tradition.

We started our open house with two ribbon cuttings with the Mason City Chamber of Commerce and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce. After the ribbon cutting our team gave tours of the new office, demonstrated our new technology, and mingled with our community guests. We gifted ATURA themed cups, mugs, pens, notepads, and cell phone accessories—and it was a hit along with the kettle corn and punch.

It was obvious how impressed our guests were with our new technology. Our team member, David, demonstrated the virtual reality set up and helped guide people through the process. It was encouraging to see the wide range of ages interested in the VR experience. During the open house, we were 3D printing a model of a current local project and excitement surrounded it.

The amount of community support was exceptional. We cannot thank everyone enough for helping us celebrate all the great things we have happening within our community and our firm. The growth we have experienced has been so humbling and exciting.
